On the basis of the collected germplasm resources and observed phenomena in resource investigation，the collection germplasm resources of ?Schisandra chinensis (Turcz.) Baill.were summarized；the color traits related to fruit appearance quality，ear traits related to economic yield，maturation period traits related to cultivated areas，leaf color trait related to resistance，and basic traits of rare white color germplasm resources were reported；the urgency and necessity of germplasm resources investigation，collection and preservation of Schisandra chinensis (Turcz.) Baill.were discussed.
