Abstract:
The sequence of a pilL gene (locus tag Aave_2768 in whole genome) in standard strain AAC001was downloaded and a pair of primers were designed based on it,the gene encodes a putative type IV pilus protein7 representative strains of Acidovorax citrulli were used to carry out amplification and PCR fragments were sequenced.The comprehensive bioinformatics analyses including sequence characteristics of DNA and amino acid,identity and homology,molecular clustering,protein physicochemical properties,hydrophobicity,transmembrane helices,signal peptide and protein secondary structural prediction were performed.The results showed that the characteristics of pilL at nucleotide and amino acid level were similar among Aac5,pslbtw37,W1 and pslbtw22,so were AAC00-1,AAC203-50 and Fc376.There were not transmembrane helices on 7 coding protein,but find hydrophilic regions on them.A signal peptide (SPI)were found with Aac5,pslbtw37,W1,and codingprotein were secreted into the perilasmic space.
