Abstract:
On the basis of inducing the conception of insecticidal controlled atmospheres (ICA),the physic-biochemical mechanism of controlling insects and effects on storage attributes of fruits and vegetables under ICA were discussed in this article.Meantime,the effects of other factors such as temperature,humidity,treating time,and gas proportion on insects control and storage quality of ICA during fruits and vegetables storage were also discussed.Finally,focused on the problems exists of ICA research,some suggestions for the further development of ICA was proposed.
