Abstract:
In order to identify the relationship betwteen the anatomical structure and drought resistance among six varieties cultivars of Paeonia suffruticosa Andr.in Luoyang,namely ‘Luoyanghong ’,‘Wudazhou’,‘Wujinyaohui’,‘Haihuang’,‘Zhaofen’ and ‘Zhihong’,their anatomical structures were compared.The results showed that the observation indexes of their stomatal frequency,cutin membranal thickness,rachis cross cut and characters of vessel elements were comprehensived,‘Luoyanghong’,‘Zhaofen’ and ‘Zhihong’ of Paeonia suffruticosaAndr.had the stronger drought resistance.
