Abstract:
Using three Citrullus lanatus cultivars of F1generation ‘Chunguang’，‘Nabite’，‘Xidu’ which including lots of merits as materials，the technology of anther culture were studied.The results showed that more callus were formed on MS+KT 1.5 mg/L+BA 2.0 mg/L+NAA 1.5 mg/L；the best concentration of sucrose for callus induction was 6%；the results indicated that the treating of 4℃，72 hours was the proper condition that make the frequencies of callus induction；the studying of culture conditions and culture means indicated that callus inducement was better when it was cultured at 30℃ for 72 h and then cultured at 25℃.The quality of watermelon callus induced in dark was much better than in light.
