Abstract:
Paeonia lactiflora Pall.peeled seeds and embryos were used as explants to study the effects of different mediums on the germination and growth of  Paeonia lactiflora  Pall..The results showed that MS medium was the best for inducing the germination of seeds among 3 medias and seeds had the highest germination rate (71.4%) on MS+6-BA 2.0 mg/L+NAA 0.2 mg/L.In vitro embryo culture,adding 6-BA solely at 2.0 mg/L inhibited the growth of embryo;MS+6-BA 1.0 mg/L+NAA 0.4 mg/L promoted the formation of callus;GA3 at suitable concentration could break the dormancy of epicotyl and the optional medium for inducing leaves to throw out from embryo was MS+6-BA 1.0 mg/L+GA30.5 mg/L.
