Abstract:
Taking 3 varieties ryegrass ‘Winter game’,‘Derby supreme’ and ‘Ted’ as test materials,the effect of single Hg2+and Hg2+ with ascorbic acid combination treatment on seed germination and seedling growth of ryegrass were studied.The results showed that Hg2+ had inhibition and its effect was different between three varieties.Seed germination potential of ‘Winter game’ did not show significant with concentration of Hg2+ at 0~10 mg/L in alone treatment.When Hg2+ reached up 100 mg/L,the inhabitation was very obvious.Compared with control,germination potential decreased 48% in Hg2+100 mg/L treatment,and in Hg2+200 mg/L treatment,seed germination obstructed seriously.Germination rate of three varieties had differences and decreased progressive between every treatments.The change trend of root length,bud length and biomass were consistent,and correlated negatively with Hg2+ concentration.Hg2+and ascorbic acid combination treatment had certain soothing effects which was obvious in high concentration.The soothing effects for resistant mercury ‘Winter game’ was lower ‘Derby supreme’ and ‘Ted’.Generally,‘Winter game’ for resistant mercury ability was the strongest,second ‘Derby supreme’,third ‘Ted’.
