With Taraxacum mongolicum seed as materials，seed dormancy characteristic and the influnce of temperature，illumination intensity and mulching soil on seed germination ability were studied.The results showed that Taraxacum mongolicum seeds didn’t dormant，and germination temperature was from 10℃ to 25℃，suitable temperature of Taraxacum mongolicum seed germination was 15～20℃.Illumination intensity didn’t affect Taraxacum mongolicum seed germination.Mulching soil had benefit to the seedling growth of Taraxacum mongolicum，and suitable mulching thickness was 0.5～1.0 cm.
