Abstract:: The life habits and occurrence regularity of Liriomyza sativae in the northwest of Hubei province were studied between 2009 and 2011 by indoor experiments and field survey method，which had found out the biological characteristics and occurrence regularity of L.sativae including each insect state period and generation.The occurrence of these insects was influenced by the parasitic plants，weather and natural enimies.The control techniques should be comprehensively prevented and control measures including agricultural，chemical control and natural enemies should be adopted in order to reached the control effect.
