Abstract:
Flavonoids are the main active ingredient in mulberry leaves.The recent extraction technology of flavonoids from mulberry leaves including the ultrasonic-assisted extraction,microwave-assisted extraction,ultrasonic-microwave synergistic extraction and ethanol extraction were reviewed.The recent pharmacological function such as bringing down blood sugar,lipid-regulation function and antioxidant activity were summarized,and the future research direction was also discussed.
