Abstract:
Taking one-year-old dormancy branches of four-year-old Cornus alba,Ablzizai jlibrsisin and Paltanus acerfioila as test materials,after treated by low temperature treatments,the content of soluble sugar,free proline,malondialdehyde(MDA),and the relative conductivity of the cold resistance of these landscape tree species were studied.The resluts showed that the content of soluble sugar,free proline in membrane increased first and decreased later,but the content of MDA increased,and the relative conductivity increased as a S-curves with the temperature decreased.According to the Logistic equation,the semi-lethal temperature(LT50)for Cornus alba,Ablzizai jlibrsisin and Paltanus acerfioila one-year stick were calculated which were -31.8,-21.5 and-19.9℃ respectively.In conclusion,the order of cold resistance for three species was Cornus alba>Ablzizai jlibrsisin>Paltanus acerfioila.
