Abstract:: Selected 30 universities with horticultural disciplines，horticultural science papers of these universities in the nearly five years and nearly a decade base on Science Citation Index (SCI) database of the United States Institute for Scientific Information (ISI).Ranked according to the papers number and in-depth analyzed the productivity and influence of the top ten universities.The results showed that the nearly five years，the horticulture field scientific research had been rapid development，especially the papers number of Nanjing Agricultural University of the fastest growing.China Agricultural University，SCI papers ranked first in the nearly five years of horticultural science，but the horticultural science was not the predominant discipline in its school.Huazhong Agricultural University，SCI papers of horticultural science output and influence were very high.
