Abstract:: Taking fresh corm of Nervilia fordii (Hance) Schltr.as material，the technique of callus induction and plantlet regeneration were studied.The results showed that Nervilia fordii corm treated by 0.1% HgCl₂ solution for 10 min，glass culture dish were in favor of the induction and regeneration of callus.High frequency multiple shoot-bud formation from callus induced by Nervilia fordii corm inducing culture on a MS-medium supplemented with 1.0 mg/L 6-BA.After several times of successive transfers of culture，regenerated plant could be obtained.The optimum medium for the induction of corm was a MS-medium contains 0.1% activated charcoal.
