66 mating combinations were prepared using 12 commonly inbred lines of tomatoes, and heterotic groups of parent germplasm and heterosis use model, combining ability and genetic were analyzed and evaluated.The impact of parent germplasm improvement on breeding effect was studied according to the phylogenetic relationship and clustering results. The results showed that parents could be divided into 5 groups: vertical groups, riegel groups, 88-10 groups, K604 groups and W17 groups on the basis of the value of the mid parent heterosis. 88-10×riegel groups, K604×vertical groups, 88-10×W17 groups were the main use models of heterosis.
