Abstract:
Nutrient solution hydroponics was adopted,the effects of sodium nitroprusside (SNP,an exogenous nitric oxide donor) on chlorophyll fluorescence characteristics in Vitis amurensis ‘Shuangfeng’ leaves under salt stress were studied.The results showed that SNP increased photochemical efficiency of photosystem (Fv/Fm),actual photochemical efficiency (ΦPSⅡ) and photochemical quenching coefficient (qP).However,SNP decreased excitation press (1-qP).In addition,SNP improved maximal potential relative electron transport rate (rETRm),semi-light saturation points (Ik) and initial slope (α) in different extent.The results of this study suggested that nitric oxide reduced excess excitation press,improved photochemical electron transport efficiency and alleviated the irreversible photoinhibition which was associated with an improvement in the actual PSⅡ efficiency.
