Abstract:
The cultivation performances among different size of plug tomato seedlings were compared systemically from the view of growth and development after transplanting.The results showed that the smaller size of plug seedlings had more excessive vegetative growth after directly transplanting from plug trays.It was showed abnormal thickening of stem,increases of leaves area and the loss of growing point.The larger size of nutrition pot seedlings had the most yield in the long-season cultivation but the 72-hole plug tray seedlings only slightly were less than pot seedlings;the smaller size of plug seedlings had higher rates of deformed fruit and the time of blossom and fruit ripening were delayed.
