Title:: Comprehensive Evaluation on Apple Production Competitiveness in Main Areas of China

Abstract:: Based on describing apple production status in China，apple production comparative advantage for seven main apple planting areas were evaluated.The advantage evaluation was mainly made from price competitive indices and non-price competitive indices，including apple production cost，wholesale price，aggregated advantage indices (AAI)，variety distribution and quality safety，etc.It drawed a conclusion that the most competitive advantage for apple production is concentrated in Shaanxi，Shandong，Gansu and Henan provinces.
