Abstract:
The flower clusters of male vines were treated with KT-30S about 20 days before anthesis,those treated with water as control.The flower buds morphology were observed and content of four endogenous hormones (abscisic acid (ABA),gibberellic acid (GA),indole-3-acetic acid (IAA),zeatin riboside (ZR)) were measured in both treatment and control flower buds at different treatment time.The flower buds of male Vitis amurensis cultivar were treated with exogenous cytokinin KT-30S to relize the changes of flower morphology and endogenous hormones involved in sex conversion of flower buds.The results showed that KT-30S was effect in sex conversion of male Vitis amurensis.The flower buds of male Vitis amurensis altered sex from male to hermaphrodite at 6 days after treatment.The content and the ratios of endogenous hormones in treatment flower buds performed differently compare to that in control flower buds at different stages of sex conversion.These results suggested that quantitative changes and the balance between endogenous hormones at different stages were involved in the control of sexuality in flower buds of male Vitis amurensis.
