Simple Green Branches Cutting Technique of Hippophae rhamnoides(PDF)

Abstract:: With Hippophae rhamnoides as test material，after cutting，dealed with no spray and once spray a day of water.Several times a day mist or spray 2 or 3 times a day were compared.The results showed that application of non-spray and spray water once a day，the rooting rate of 5～25 cm long greenwood cuttings with several leaves was still more than 90%，seedling height over 40 cm with a robust root system.And rooting rate was more than twice as many as the common used automatic intermittent mist softwood cuttings and need less investment.Compared with spray twice or third a day，the new method need less labor and with a similar rooting rate，and benefits were significantly improved.
