Abstract:
To select suitable cultivated substrates for use in purified indoor formaldehyde pollution,4 kinds of substrates were evaluated for their effectiveness in reducing formaldehyde concentrations in a simulated fumigating box environment,and the absorption capacities were compared and ranked according to the net ratio of absorption.The results showed that the capacities of different substrates in removing formaldehyde were different,and the order of the substrates according to the absorption efficiency amount before planted was diatomite>peat>bark>sawdust,the order of the substrates according to the absorption efficiency amount after planted 30 days was diatomite>bark>peat>sawdust.According to formaldehyde removal capacity in the experiment,the four different substrates were suitable for use in purified indoor formaldehyde pollution,especially diatomite,bark and peat.
