Abstract:
ThemainplantresourcesforstreetafforestinginKunmingCitywereinvestigatedandanalyzed，andthelistofplantswassortedout.Theresultsshowedthattheretotallywere107speciesofafforestingplants，belongingto82generaand53families.Intermsoflifeforms，therewere52arborspecies，accountingfor48.6%ofthetotalnumber；29shrubspecies，accountingfor27.1%；13herbaceousspecies，accountingfor12.1%；8lianasspecies，accountingfor7.5%；and5bamboospecies，takingup4.7%.Theapplicationandarrangementofthelandscapeplantsinurbanafforestationwereanalyzedanddiscussed，whichwouldprovidevaluableinformationfortherationalselectionandapplicationoflandscapeplantspeciesforthefuturedesigninKunmingCity.
