Abstract:
Basedonpainting100mg/kgKT-30emulsionondifferentbudsfrom30cmto60cmdownthetopofcentralshootdecapitatedinlastwinterfromApriltoJuly,effectsofpaintingKT-30emulsiononbudsindifferenttimeonbranchingandgrowthofyoungappletreeswerestudiedwithtwo-year-old‘RedFuji’appletreesondwarfinginter-rootstocks.Theresultsshowedthatnaturalgerminationrateofbudsofthecontrolfrom30cmto60cmdownthetopofcentralshootdecapitatedinlastwinterinearlierApril,laterApril,May,JuneandJulywas43.7%,6.07%,0%,0%and10.75%onaveragerespectively,andbudstreatedbyKT-30emulsiongerminatedontheseventhday,moreover,thegerminationrateofbudstreatedfromApril5thtoJuly5thwasallhigherthan80%,thegerminationrateofbudstreatedonMay25thwas100%whichwassignificantlyhigherthanthattreatedinothertime.Besides,budstreatedinAprilandJulywithlowbranchingabilityalmostgrewtospurs,thebranchingabilitywas0%whichwasthelowestwhenbudsweretreatedonJuly25th,andespeciallybecauseoflessgrowthtime,allthebudstreatedinJulygrewtospursormediumbrancheswithbadmaturity.However,budstreatedonMay25thandJuly10thhadstrongbranchingabilitywhichwas66.0%and57.6%onaverage,andtheaveragelengthofsuperlongbrancheswithstronggrowthvigorandgoodmaturitywas66.7cmand91.1cmrespectively.Theratioofbranchdiametertotrunkdiametershowedagraduallydecreasingtrendasthetreatmenttimedelayed,whichwas0.43,0.40,0.38and0.28onaverageinApril,May,JuneandJulyrespectively.
