Abstract:
RNA interference is the process of the post-transcriptional gene silencing in which it degraded endogenous mRNA specifically by the mediation of corresponding double stranded RNA.Many studies on the mechanism of RNA interference were made.RNAi provided a new tool for studing gene function，gene therapy and inhibit the expression of unfavorable genes.The mechanism，the characteristics and application of RNAi were reviewed in this paper.
