Abstract:
The germination percentages of pokeberry seed were studied after the pretreatment with 1 mol/L NaOH,72% H2SO4,high temperature and humidity with 40℃ and low temperature storage with -20℃ under dark or light.The results showed the germination percentages under light were higher than those of under dark.The germination percentages were all improved with 4 pretreatments and it had the hightest germination percentage with 72%H2SO4 pretreatment.Taking togther，light could promote germination of pokeberry seed and seed coat was a major limit factor to germination.
