Abstract:

Investigation of agronomic wild species mainly in Changbai Moutain area indicated the worrying state for wild fruit tree resources, with a sharp decrease in number. An quantitative evaluation system of the priority conservation of the wild fruit plants was established, by using the method of priority conservation grading index of the rare plants. It contained seven indexes such as storage coefficient, protection emergency degree etc.. The quantitative evaluation system was applied to evaluate the wild fruit tree resources in cold area of northeastern China. It could provide a reference for the potection and development of the resources. 12 families, 33 genera and 49 species were evaluated. The results showed that 6 families, 9 genera and 11 species need to be protected urgently.
