Abstract:
The trial used penertrating material as isolated layers,on which were equiped with 1,2,3,4,5 and 6 cm 6 different soil thicknesses.By watching,testing and recording each experiment’s lawn growing speed,the situation of picking up sod,the thickness of turf after their picking up as well as the weight of 1 m2 sod,and made contrasting experiments.The results showed that the cost of 1 cm was the lowest,but the picking was the most difficult,and the sod was broken up into many small pieces,hardly used;the 2 cm was better,still had 5~6 broken spots;the 3 cm was much better,only 1~2 broken spots,it could be pick up 1 m2 without any broken as a whole.Therefore,comprehensively considering the two aspect of the cost and the situation of picking up,the 3 cm was the best one.
