Abstract:
Under field conditions,effects of different planting patterns and different planting density on soil moisture,yield and economic benefits of watermelon in semi-arid regions of the Loess Plateau hilly region were studied,with open field cultivation as a control.The results showed that the yield and economic benefits of watermelon increased by 118.67% and 135.09% compared with the control by using monocolpate film mulching technology,which was a high yield cultivation technique suitable for watermelon planting in dry area.
