Abstract:
Rhododendron species in Subgenus hymanenthes (Bl.) K.Koch are not only possessed of beautiful tree forms,but have brightly colored flowers,and with high ornamental and landscape values.However,due to difficulties in breeding and nurturing life for a long time,so they are often short supply in the market.With the development of plant tissue culture technology in recent years,the tissue culture technology of Rhododendron species in Subgenus hymanenthes has made some progress.In order to bring some reference value to the tissue culture of Rhododendron species in Subgenus hymanenthes,the comprehensive introduction about the explant choice,the methods of explant disinfection,the medium choice,different influence in explant of different hormones,proliferation,rooting culture,and to the root regeneration in the tissue culture of Rhododendron species in Subgenus hymanenthes were summarized.
