Abstract:
Taking the seeds of Phoebe sheareri and phoebe chekiangensis as test maerials,the seed germination characteristics of Phoebe sheareri and Phoebe chekiangensis by experiment of different methods of seed storage(in wet stratified sand at 4℃,natural indoor temperature),germination temperatures(15,20,25,30℃) and lighting conditions(full dark,lighting 12 h and lighting 24 h)were studied.The results showed that the better storage method of the two seeds was in wet stratified sand at 4℃.The optimal temperature for germination of Phoebe sheareri and Phoebe chekiangensis was 25℃.Suitable light had positive effect on germination rate and energy,but decreased on 24 h lighting condition.
