Abstract:
The fruit quality of the different Myrica rubra varieties in Dongting mountain were studied in order to provide reference for selection,breeding and improvement of Suzhou Myrica rubra varieties.The results showed that the fruit shape index of all Myrica rubra varieties was between 0.93 and 1.00.The fruit edible rate of ‘Dayexidi’ was highest,94.80%.The single fruit weight of ‘Lizhitou’ was the highest,other varieties except ‘Baiyangmei’ and ‘Yeyangmei’ were more than 11 g.The soluble solids of bred plant was 11.46% and highest than other varieties.The titratable acid content of ‘Zitiao’ fruit was most lowest.The anthocyanins content of all varieties were around 200 nmol/g except ‘Baiyangmei’.
