Abstract:
The effect of different nitrogen ratios NH4+-N∶NO3--N were 0∶100,10∶90,25∶75,75∶25, 100∶0 on growth of Lilium in sand culture.The results showed that the nutrient solution treatment with higher NO3--N content was helpful to the growth and development of Lilium. Higher NO3--N content in the nutrient solution significantly increased the accumulation of dry weight and nitrogen content both in shoot and root of plant. The 25∶75 (NH4+-N∶NO3--N ) treatment(N3) was the optimum treatment because of higher proportion of flower bud and longer flowing time than that of other treatments. This treatment(N3) also had the highest values in plant height, flower diameter, chlorophyll content, dry weight of shoot and N contend in root among all treatments. These results suggested that the N3treatment could promote the growth and development and flower formation of Lilium.
