The germination characteristics of Spathiphyllum seeds from artificial pollination were studied in different medium and sowing patterns, under different illumination conditions and at different temperatures. The results showed that there were significant different gemination rate in different medium and sowing patterns, ranging from 7 to 10 days after sowing. The germinating rate of sowing on the surface of peat moss was high up to 83.3%, 96.7% in the dark condition, 90% at temperatures of 24℃ and greenhouse condition.
